MedCaT Expands Pathways for Future Healthcare Leaders

This spring, MedCaT will host a Spring Learning Lab on April 11-12, 2025, at Western Carolina University, focusing on women’s health. Students will engage in hands-on birthing simulations and interactive activities, gaining direct experience in medical scenarios while learning from professionals in the field.

MedCaT continues to support high school students on their path to healthcare careers through hands-on learning, mentorship, and career exploration. By exposing students to a wide range of healthcare fields—including direct patient care, research, and public health—MedCaT helps them find career paths that align with their passions and community needs.

Looking ahead, the MedCaT Summer Academy will take place from June 22-28, 2025, offering an intensive, immersive experience for students exploring medical careers. Applications are due by April 18, 2025. Apply here.
